My Philosphy

As a developer I’m always faced with the problem of showing off my
works. A artist can show you images, a web designer can show you sites,
now I could show you code, but that wouldn’t be very fun for either of
us. So I’ll try my best to describe features and explain technologies used.

Over the years I’ve developed a philosophy when it comes to code. You’ve
probably already seen it, “Coding should be simple!” Lets face it, today’s
world is founded on the principle of “give me more!” King size drinks,
deluxe combos, feature packed phones, these all have their place in the
market, but when it comes to development, less is more.

When looking for a solution the best idea is often the simplest. “My hands
get cold in the winter, we should make pockets that redirect heat from warm
areas of the body to the pockets so I can warm my hands!” Sounds like a good
idea, but isn’t a better solution to just wear gloves? It can be difficult
to pull yourself outside the problem and examine it with a clear mind,
but when you do it generates simple and useful solutions.

Personal Info

First and foremost I consider myself a developer now. Well I have some
skills with design, I can say with resolve that it is easier to
make the web work, than to make the web pretty. I attended school for
a multimedia degree encompassing many different areas from design to
development to 3D modeling.

I live in Detroit. I’m always looking for side gigs, so if you have something
that needs doing that can be done during off hours feel free to drop me a line.
I’m a web designers best friend :)
